Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush will not play against Club Brugge because of UEFA’s regulations. The rules allow teams to update their squads after the group stage and before the last 16. Since this match is still part of the group stage, Marmoush is not eligible to play.
Marmoush joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt last Thursday. Two days later, he made his debut against Chelsea in the Premier League.
