Manchester City prepare for a crucial clash against Club Brugge in the Champions League
Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, are getting ready for a big match against Club Brugge on Wednesday night in the Champions League. This game is part of the eighth and final round of the group stage and will take place at the Etihad Stadium.
City are in a tough spot after a heavy defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the last round. They lost 4-2 at the Parc des Princes, which put them in a difficult position in the competition. Right now, City are fifth in the group with just eight points. They must win this game to secure a place in the play-off round for the last 16.
There is no chance for City to qualify directly for the next stage. A win tonight would only get them into the play-offs. UEFA will hold the draw for the play-off round on Friday.

Omar Marmoush ruled out of Club Brugge clash due to UEFA rules
Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush will not play against Club Brugge because of UEFA’s regulations. The rules allow teams to update their squads after the group stage and before the last 16. Since this match is still part of the group stage, Marmoush is not eligible to play.
Marmoush joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt last Thursday. Two days later, he made his debut against Chelsea in the Premier League.
