English press reports indicated that Manchester United are looking for potential alternatives to compensate for the departure of Marcus Rashford in the coming period.
Reports suggest that Marcus Rashford is ready to leave Manchester United for a new challenge in his football career. Currently, Manchester United sits in thirteenth place in the English Premier League with 22 points.
The “90min” network reported that Man United is in talks with representatives of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as a potential replacement for Rashford.
The report mentions that Manchester United officials are considering Osimhen as an option and have already made contact with the player’s representatives.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli this summer after a move to Chelsea fell through. However, Napoli has the option to recall him in January if they receive a permanent offer.
Napoli will ask for about 75 million euros to sell Osimhen, who has 18 months left on his contract and who the club has told that his time there is coming to an end.
Man United plans to sell Rashford, valued at around £40m, and will use the fee to sign Victor Osimhen.
