Press reports claimed that the Egyptian Omar Marmoush, the striker for Eintracht Frankfurt, has signed contracts to move to Manchester City during the current winter transfer period.

The British newspaper “Daily Mail” reported that Manchester City is targeting the signing of Omar Marmoush during the current winter transfer window, in addition to the Brazilian Ederson, the midfielder for Atalanta.

Egyptian press reports stated that Marmoush signed contracts to move to the English club for 50 million pounds.

A source in Manchester City clarifies the truth about concluding the Omar Marmoush deal.

A source in Manchester City denied this news in exclusive statements to “cityunitedfans”, describing it as fake, and Eintracht Frankfurt, in turn, denied via “cityunitedfans” the transfer of Omar Marmoush to Manchester City or the existence of an agreement in this regard.

Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Timo Hardung revealed the club’s position on selling Marmoush in January, saying in his exclusive interview with cityunitedfans in a few weeks ago: “We have no contact with Liverpool regarding Marmoush, no negotiations or contacts, I know the people there but there is nothing.”

He added: “There are no contacts with any club regarding the player, we do not want to dispense with him, we do not want to sell him, there is no reason to sell him in the winter.”

Omar Marmoush is doing more than wonderfully with Frankfurt this season, as the Egyptian star contributed to 30 goals in only 23 matches in various competitions.

The former Wadi Degla player managed to score 13 goals and make 8 others in the German League, and scored 4 and made two in 6 matches in the European League, while he scored a goal and provided two assists in the German Cup, bringing his total goals to 18 goals with 12 assists in 1804 minutes of play.

Marmoush is the second most contributing player to scoring goals in the five major leagues with 20 contributions, behind his compatriot Mohamed Salah, Liverpool winger, who contributed to scoring 30 goals.
