Reports suggest that AC Milan is interested in signing Manchester City defender Kyle Walker during the ongoing winter transfer window.
Pep Guardiola, City’s head coach, confirmed that Walker had requested to leave the club to explore a new challenge outside the Premier League.
Guardiola explained on Saturday, “Kyle wants to spend his final seasons in another country, so I left him out of the match against Salford in the FA Cup to give other players a chance.”
He added, “Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore options abroad and finish his career elsewhere.” The City management is now evaluating offers to find the best deal for both the club and the player.
