Reports have surfaced about Manchester City player Jeremy Doku’s desire to leave the Premier League champions during the ongoing winter transfer window.

There are growing doubts about Jeremy’s future with the club, as rumours suggest he may be unhappy with his current situation.

Spanish reports, published hours ago, claim the player wants to leave Manchester City this month. They also say his agents have offered him to several clubs, including Barcelona.

The Spanish newspaper Sport states that Jeremy feels frustrated with his limited playing time under Pep Guardiola. The report adds that his situation could worsen following the arrival of Egyptian star Omar Marmoush.

Marmoush joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt last Thursday and has quickly settled into the team. Guardiola included him in the starting line-up for Saturday’s Premier League match against Chelsea.

City beat Chelsea 3-1, with Marmoush playing until the 73rd minute before being substituted.

However, Belgian journalist Sacha Tavoleri has denied the claims about Doku wanting to leave. Tavoleri says the reports about Jeremy’s agents offering him to Barcelona are completely untrue.

He adds that Doku’s representatives have officially dismissed the rumours and confirmed the winger has no plans to leave Manchester City in January.

The rumours about Jeremy’s unhappiness seem to have no basis, as the player and his team are focused on their current season with Manchester City.

Doku joined Manchester City last summer and has shown flashes of his talent, though competition for places in Guardiola’s squad remains fierce.

For now, Doku remains committed to helping City as they compete in the Premier League and other competitions this season.
