News reports shared a big surprise, saying Saudi club Al-Nassr are close to signing Argentine player Alejandro Garnacho, the man united midfielder, who looks ready to leave the Red Devils in this summer transfer window.

SportSkeeda reported that Al-Nassr want to bring Garnacho and Cristiano Ronaldo back together, as both players shared the pitch at man united before. The club believe this move can help keep the “Madeira Rocket” from leaving them this summer.

Garnacho really admires Ronaldo and always puts him ahead of fellow Argentine Lionel Messi. This might lead to a strong partnership between the two players at Al-Nassr in the next season.

The young Argentine went through a tough time after man united lost the Europa League final. He openly criticised Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim, saying: “I don’t know why I only played 20 minutes in the Europa League final. My current situation and the club’s situation will definitely affect my future. I will try to enjoy the summer and then see what happens.”

Alejandro Garnacho Is Close to Al-Nassr Move

Al-Nassr plan to shake up their squad. Older reports said they want to sell Sadio Mané, Marcelo Brozovic, and Otavio in the next transfer window.

Brozovic joined Al-Nassr from Inter Milan for €15.7 million, while Otavio came from Porto for €60 million. Mané moved from Bayern Munich for €30 million. This change in the team could help make space for new signings, including Garnacho from man united.

Al-Nassr had a very poor season under Cristiano Ronaldo’s lead. They finished third in the Saudi Roshen League with just 70 points and missed out on a spot in the next AFC Champions League. This result led to strong rumours that Ronaldo could leave the club in the coming months.

Garnacho joined man united from Atlético Madrid’s youth team in 2020 for €465,000. Since then, he has played 144 matches for the Red Devils, scoring 26 goals and giving 22 assists.
