Paris Saint-Germain stages a remarkable comeback to defeat Manchester City 4-2
Paris Saint-Germain overturned a two-goal deficit to secure a surprising 4-2 victory over Manchester City in the seventh round of the Champions League on Wednesday. The defeat puts City’s position in the prestigious European competition in serious doubt.
City initially took control with goals from Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland in the 50th and 53rd minutes, giving them a 2-0 lead. However, Paris Saint-Germain responded quickly. Ousmane Dembele scored in the 56th minute after a cross from Barcola, who then equalised just four minutes later by following up on a rebound.
Saint-Germain dominated possession in City’s half, and Joao Neves gave the home side the lead in the 78th minute. Neves headed in after City’s defence failed to clear a free kick taken by Vitinha.
Goncalo Ramos sealed the win in stoppage time with a goal confirmed after a VAR review, leaving City fans at the Parc des Princes stunned.

Manchester City at risk of early Champions League exit
The victory moved Paris Saint-Germain up to 22nd in the standings, while Manchester City dropped to 25th, just outside the qualifying spots for the play-off round to reach the last 16.
Pep Guardiola‘s side now faces the possibility of an early exit from this season’s Champions League. To avoid elimination, they must win their final group match next week.
Milan secures narrow win over Girona

In another match, Rafael Leao’s first-half strike earned Milan a 1-0 win over Girona, keeping the Italian side on track for a place in the knockout stages.
Leao scored in the 37th minute with a brilliant lob following a precise low cross from Ismael Bennacer. Bennacer won possession at the halfway line, dribbled past Girona’s midfield, and delivered the assist to the Portuguese winger.
The win placed Milan in sixth with 15 points, keeping them in contention for direct qualification to the round of sixteen. Girona, on the other hand, missed their chance to secure a play-off spot after recording just one win in the group stage.
