Manchester United have secured the signing of young English defender Ayden Heaven from Arsenal during the current 2025 winter transfer window.

Heaven is regarded as one of Arsenal’s brightest young talents. The 18-year-old attracted interest from several major clubs, including United, Barcelona, and Eintracht Frankfurt. Despite Arsenal’s efforts to renew his contract, Heaven decided to join Manchester United.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed on his “X” account that United have reached an agreement for Heaven’s transfer. The medical examination has already been arranged, and the deal is expected to be finalised in the next few hours.

This season, Heaven made his senior debut for Arsenal. He played for 10 minutes in the 3-0 win over Preston on 30 October, during the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
