Man Utd urged to re-sign Paul Pogba for third spell, with Fulham also suggested as a potential destination.

Louis Saha has expressed his wish for Manchester United to re-sign Paul Pogba as a free agent for a third time. He has been without a club since Juventus ended his contract last year following a doping suspension, which has now been reduced from four years to 18 months. The ban will end in March, allowing Paul to return to playing. He has been linked with moves to several clubs, including teams in MLS and the Saudi Pro League, and even the possibility of teaming up with Mason Greenwood at Marseille. However, former United striker Louis Saha believes the best move for Pogba is to come back to Old Trafford.

Saha’s comments on Pogba’s future

Speaking to Spaceportsweden.com, Saha said: “These next few days will be important for Paul as the transfer window closes. He definitely needs a club. The fact that he’s free agent takes some pressure off him, as he can join a club even after the window shuts, but from his perspective, he’ll want to get on the pitch with his new teammates as soon as possible.

“The best thing for Paul is to start training now, improving his fitness and tactical understanding. He’ll also want to know his role in the team.”

Saha also mentioned another possible destination for Pogba, suggesting Fulham as a good fit. “Fulham would welcome him and he would be a massive asset for them. He would fit well at Fulham,” he said. However, for Saha, Manchester United is the ideal option for Pogba. He compared Pogba’s entertainment value to that of Neymar, saying: “If Paul Pogba is available, I’d love to see him back at United. That’s how good he is. When he’s fit, he can quickly become one of the best players in the squad.”

Saha added that a few players, including Amad Diallo, Neymar, and Pogba, really excite him. “There are very few players in the world who can do what Pogba can do, and that’s why I’d love to see him return to Manchester United and make more memories there.”

Meanwhile, United are working behind the scenes to make room in their squad, looking to offload players so they can make new signings before the January transfer window ends. Ruben Amorim’s United side will face FCSB in the Europa League on Thursday.
