The only player from Manchester City in a similar situation is Ruben Dias, who also faces suspension if he collects another yellow card.
The players’ yellow card counts won’t be cleared until the semi-finals of the Champions League. This rule means that Real Madrid’s players must play carefully in the first leg to avoid missing the crucial second leg in Madrid.
