The FA Cup fourth-round draw has set up a challenging match between Leicester City, led by Dutch coach Ruud van Nistelrooy, and defending champions Manchester United at Old Trafford. Manchester United advanced after eliminating Arsenal on penalties.

Van Nistelrooy, who scored 150 goals in 219 games for Manchester United during his playing career, managed the Red Devils briefly this season after Erik ten Hag was dismissed. During his four matches in charge, he achieved three wins and one draw before Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim took over. However, his current stint with Leicester has been less successful, with just two wins in eight matches, including a victory over Queens Park Rangers in the third round of the FA Cup.

The clash at Old Trafford is one of several all-Premier League ties in the fourth round. Chelsea will travel to face Brighton, while Everton, under returning coach David Moyes, will host Bournemouth. Another big matchup sees Aston Villa and Tottenham face off in Birmingham.

Excitement Builds in the FA Cup

Last season’s runner-up, Manchester City, will play an away game against the winner of Leyton Orient (League Two) and Derby County (League One). Meanwhile, Liverpool, the current Premier League leaders, will visit Plymouth, who sit 21st in the Championship.

The fourth round includes 17 Premier League teams, while Arsenal and West Ham were eliminated in the previous round. Arsenal lost to Manchester United, and West Ham fell to Aston Villa, while Championship side Plymouth pulled off a surprise by defeating Brentford.
